Common help

• Pairing your B10 band

  Turn on Bluetooth and keep the band close to your phone. In the app, open Settings, then Device, and choose Pair your wearable. Give the band a shake, the one that says “Moving now” is yours, then press its SOS button once to link it. On iPhone, allow location access too, so the app can hear the button.

• The band won't connect

  Check that Bluetooth is on, the band is charged and it's close to your phone. Then open the app and pair it again from Settings, then Device. On Android, allow VigilantHer to keep running in the background. On iPhone, set location access to “Always” and keep the app open in the background.

• Adding people to your Circle

  Open Settings, then Circle (My Circle on Android), and add the people you trust with their phone numbers. Choose a Primary and a Backup, they're called first. By adding someone, you confirm they've agreed to get safety alert texts and calls from VigilantHer.

• How SOS works

  Press your band's SOS button once, or press and hold SOS in the app. A 20 second “Are you safe?” countdown lets you cancel a false alarm. Then your Circle is alerted and can see your live location until you swipe “I'm safe”. With Plus, they also get a text and a call.

• Managing or cancelling VigilantHer Plus

  Plus is a monthly subscription ($8.99/month), billed by the store you bought it from. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions.App Store subscriptionsGoogle Play subscriptions

• Deleting your account and data

  In the app, open Settings, then Account & Support (Account on iPhone), then tap Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, Circle, evidence and history, and it can't be undone. A Plus subscription is cancelled separately, in the App Store or Google Play.
